  1. Complete the 2 number sequence sheets.
  2. Use the St. David’s Day recipe card to cook some delicious food.Measure the ingredients carefully using weighing scales.
  3. Complete the St. David’s Day Maths Challenge cards.

English

  1. Our class book is still ‘The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind’.It would be great if you could get a copy for yourself to read.  If not, I am uploading the chapters each week on Seesaw.  There’s also a film on Netflix that you could watch.
  2. Complete 10 ‘2Ad’ sentences.I’ve included the information sheet to remind you what they are.  Write sentences that you could use in Theseus and the Minotaur.
  3. Complete the sheet on using speech marks.
  4. Write a discussion between Theseus and Ariadne using speech marks.Remember that you need a new line for a new speaker.  I’ve included the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur for you to refer to.
  5. Complete the reading comprehension.

Task 1: PE

Set yourself a fitness challenge.  Choose 5 exercises such as squats, press-ups, sit-ups, star jumps and high knees and see how many repetitions you can complete.  Repeat each day and record your progress.

Task 2: Expressive Art

Create an ancient Greek sculpture. Research them and choose your favourite.  You can create it by sculpting soap with cocktail sticks or using junk modelling or any other way you like!

Task 3: Humanities

Research a day in the life of a person in Ancient Greece.  How is it the same or different to your life?  Write a diary account of a person living in Ancient Greece.
