Harvest 2019

Dear Parents / Carers,

We are celebrating harvest with a whole school liturgy on Friday 18th October at 9:15am and our Chaplaincy Ministry would like to ask for your support. If possible, please could we ask you to be generous and donate the following items.

Chaplaincy would like to collect fresh fruit and vegetables – please look at the colour for your child’s class, in this way we can ensure we have a range to be shared with those in need in our community. These will be distributed through our local church charity, the SVP (St. Vincent de Paul) group.

Dosbath Coch (Miss Foster) a RED piece of fruit or vegetable e.g. apple, red pepper, radish

Dosbarth Cas-Gwent (Mrs Rayner) a YELLOW piece of fruit or vegetable e.g. lemon, melon, banana

Dosbarth Rhaglan (Mrs Williams / Mrs Wright) an ORANGE piece of fruit or vegetable e.g. orange, carrot

Dosbath Cil-y-Coed (Mrs de Lima / Mrs Dewhurst) a GREEN piece of fruit or vegetable e.g. lettuce, broccoli, green pepper

Dosbarth Caerdydd (Miss Griffiths) a PURPLE piece of fruit or vegetable e.g. aubergine, plums, beetroot

Dosbarth Caerffili (Miss Chard) a BROWN piece of fruit or vegetable e.g. onion, potato, kiwi

Dosbarth Caernarfon (Mrs Waugh) a WHITE(ish) piece of fruit or vegetable e.g. cauliflower, turnip, parsnip

At this time of harvest we are also collecting for our local parish foodbank. Please could you send in a donation of a tinned or dry food item.

If you would like to donate more than the two items, we would be very grateful for all you are able to contribute.

We thank you for your continued generosity and support.

Yours sincerely,

The Chaplaincy Ministry
