Newsletter 07.09.20

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your support and patience last week as we reopened the school, it was a very positive start and we were delighted to see everyone back.

The staggered start and finish times seem to have worked well and allowed for an ordered drop off and collection, but can we remind you to ensure that you as adults are socially distancing from each other and that you line up next to the fence.

Please can you also ensure that you move away from the school gates when you have dropped off or collected your children, to allow more space for those who are entering or exiting the school grounds.

We made a change on Friday which seemed to have a positive impact on the teachers’ ability to locate parents and ensure children are collected safely, so we ask that you continue to line up as follows –

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 – Queue on the left-hand side of the school gate (rainbow signs on the fence.)

Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6 – Queue on the right-hand side of the school gate.

Please note that we currently do not have a school crossing patrol so we ask that you are extra vigilant when crossing the road.

Please also note that –

– Breakfast Club will commence on Monday 14th September at 8.15am.

– You will be able to purchase school meals via Parent Pay from Monday 14th September.

– Access to the school office is by appointment only. We encourage you to telephone us if you have any queries during the school day or contact us by text or email.
