Dear Parents and Carers,

I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for your support and understanding over these past few months as we have had to negotiate one of the most challenging terms any of us can remember. I am immensely proud of the children for the sensible way they have met the challenges presented to them by the virus and we have been delighted with their levels of engagement and attendance.

However, I would like to especially pay tribute to the outstanding St. Gabriel’s staff whose resilience, patience, good humour and work-ethic has meant that your children have been kept safe and experienced a relatively ‘normal’ few months in school. On behalf of everyone at St. Gabriel’s may I wish you all a safe and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year, and we look forward to seeing you all for the start of the spring term on –

All the Christmas concerts are being uploaded to the ‘Home Learning’ page of our website, and you will receive a link via text message to let you know when they are available to watch.

We hope you enjoy them as much as the children did!

Just a reminder that we will be having a Christmas Jumper Day on Wednesday 16th December which is the same day as our Christmas dinner, and we ask for a donation of £1 (via Parent Pay) which will contribute towards the Friends of St. Gabriel’s who do tremendous work in supporting the school.

We held our Christmas raffle on Friday and the winners have been contacted to collect their prizes from the school office. We’d like to say a huge thank you to those parents who have donated prizes and to the following businesses for their support – we raised £368!
