Newsletter 5.3.21

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a busy week! We’ve had St. David’s Day to start the week and of course World Book Day yesterday – many thanks to you all for supporting these events and helping us mark the occasions for our children. It’s been hard for our teachers in school as they haven’t had ICT equipment internet access to be able to share the activities undertaken with you due to our computer migration this week.

Return of KS2

As you will have seen in previous Welsh Government briefings, the plan was for KS2 to return to schools on March 15th should the science continue to support it. It has been confirmed that this is planned to be going ahead and so we are officially preparing for KS2 to return on March 15th.

There will be a detailed letter sent to parents of KS2 to remind of processes and procedures – a text will be sent to alert you to this on your parentpay account.

KS2 Teams Catch Up Meetings

KS2 will be continuing their Teams Catch Up meetings next week. Look out for information from your teacher as to the date and time.

ICT Migration

Thank you to our school community for your patience this week as our IT systems have been very limited. The migration is going smoothly and we almost have all systems up and running.

Thank you!

Thank you to all parents and carers that drop off and pick up children – we really appreciate your support in following our ‘gate processes’ so that we all work together in keeping our children and wider community safe.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs M. Harris

Headteacher
