IMPORTANT COVID Information Update

Firstly, I would like to once again thank all in our school community for the support and understanding that has continually been shown in what continues to be unprecedented and challenging times with frequently changing guidelines and advice for us to follow in our school setting – we really do appreciate it.

Under the latest guidance, Test, Trace, Protect (TTP) have provided us with letters we are to issue to parents / carers should there be a confirmed positive case in a class. An information letter will be sent if there is a confirmed case asking you to be vigilant for symptoms. A second letter will be sent if there is a second confirmed case in the same class with 7 days of the first. This letter will advise that your child does a lateral flow test every day for 7 days.

Friends of St. Gabriel’s

Our thanks go to the ‘Friends’ for the beautiful tree decorations for each child. It was a lovely way to bring home and school together this Christmas.

An ongoing way to support the Friends of St Gabriel’s, who provide such valuable resources for our pupils across the year, is to sign up to the school lottery – £1 will buy you a ticket. There is a dedicated lottery for those that support St. Gabriel’s. We currently have approximately 30 people supporting out school – the more people that participate, the larger the prize becomes. Please think about whether this is something you could join and consider if any wider family or friends would also be interested.
